O nas
A love for traditional polish culture brought us together in our private lives and helped shape our professional paths.
We met in Warsaw, settled in Łomża, and eventually moved to Kurpie. Here we established our own Foundation with the goal of protecting and promoting the heritage of the Kurpie region. As part of the Foundation, we created a school of traditional music — the Kurpie Fiddle Academy, which now brings together children, youth, and adults from six Kurpie municipalities: Kadzidło, Myszyniec, Baranowo, Czarnia, Łyse, and Lelis.
It began with teaching regional music, then expanded to include original educational concerts, day camps, theatre performances, and the formation of family music groups, where young Kurpie people play traditional music for dancing together with their relatives.

Prezes Fundacji. Muzyk, śpiewak, instruktor gry na skrzypcach, pasjonat folkloru od ponad 30 lat, wielbiciel i znawca muzyki i śpiewu Puszczy Zielonej od ponad 10. Laureat licznych nagród na najważniejszych ogólnopolskich festiwalach i przeglądach muzyki ludowej. (Między innymi drugie miejsce w kategorii solista- instrumentalista na Ogólnopolskim Festiwalu Kapel i Śpiewaków Ludowych w Kazimierzu, na podium również w kategorii: kapele a także dwukrotnie w kategorii Mistrz i Uczeń. Prowadzi Kurpiowską Akademię Smyczkową – autorską szkołę nauki gry na skrzypcach tradycyjnego repertuaru kurpiowskiego. W Fundacji odpowiada między innymi za organizację koncertów, potańcówek, spotkań śpiewaczych, kontakt z mediami oraz samorządem.
Agata Dąbkowska
Wiceprezeska Fundacji. Absolwentka Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Warszawie oraz Studium Pedagogicznego przy tej samej uczelni. Organizatorka licznych autorskich warsztatów artystycznych i plenerów. Pedagog z wieloletnim doświadczeniem między innymi jako prowadząca zajęcia z edukacji artystycznej po angielsku dla studentów Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego ( Graduate Programme in Teaching English to Young Learners.Nominowana do Warszawskiej Nagrody Edukacji Kulturalnej za projekt “Był sobie las”. W Fundacji zajmuje się głównie pozyskiwaniem dotacji, koordynacją projektów, dokumentacją fotograficzną i wideo wydarzeń a także social mediami. Prowadzi zajęcia artystyczne z elementami historii sztuki Art Figle.Pasjonatka fotografii i gry w ping ponga.

Our mission is to protect, nurture, and creatively develop the culture of the Kurpie region — so that it may inspire contemporary society and help shape the future.
